Shock Image: Christian Girl Thrown Out Of Window By Muslim Mob
Though oft promoted as a religion of peace by its followers, the actions of many believers in the word of the prophet Muhammad find it perfectly justifiable to kill innocent people based strictly on their religious beliefs.
Muslims Throwing Christian Girl From Window.
The picture message claims to show a shocking image of a Christian girl who was supposedly thrown out of a window by a Muslim mob motivated by religious beliefs. The claim is partially fact.
The message of the story is taken from an article on Before It’s News, with the same title that was published in December 2013. The article reported that a 15-year old Christian girl was thrown from the third floor of a building by a Muslim mob in a village of southern Minya (in Egypt) province. It supposedly happened when the Muslim residents of the village attacked Christian homes, burning 10 houses and wounding 15 Christians — agitated by rumors of a love affair between a local Christian man and a Muslim woman.
The aforementioned incident did happen for real, but the picture that is shown with the story is completely unrelated. The attack was reported in Associated Press article, as told by Ezzat Ibrahim, an activist who monitors minority rights. The picture, however, is actually a Chinese woman, who survived fall from fifth-floor window in Shanghai in July 2011. You can notice that the original picture has Chinese name boards over adjacent building, which is cropped out in present story. This picture was shared with the story of Muslim attack in Minya by a blog Sharia Unveiled, and that is how the picture spread wide. The woman in the photo reportedly jumped out from fifth floor after someone is believed to have threatened her. She was diagnosed with Schizophrenia, a mental disorder characterized by a breakdown of thought processes and impaired emotional responses.
So the shocking image does not show a Christian girl in Egypt thrown out of window by Muslim mob; although such an incident did occur in November 2013. The picture belongs to an unrelated incident where a Chinese woman jumped out from fifth floor after someone is believed to have threatened her.
