It is more than 1,000 yards long, covers 20 acres, has a 115 ft deep end and holds 66 million gallons of water. The pool is so large that resort guests use kayaks and small boats to move around. A computer controlled filtration system is used to keep fresh seawater in the pool. Seawater is taken in at one end of the pool and then pumped out at the other.

According to the Guinness world records, this is the largest outdoor swimming pool in the world, 1,013 metres (3,323 ft) in length, spread over an area of 8 hectares (20 acres) and a maximum depth of 35 m (115 ft) at its deepest. The pool holds 66 million gallons of crystal clear seawater, and also holds the Guinness record for the world's deepest outdoor swimming pool. This is believed to be 20 times bigger than a typical swimming pool used in Olympics.
This enormous swimming pool is a man-made lagoon, which is set halfway up along the coastline of country's Pacific coast. The pool uses a computer-operated suction and filtration system to suck in water from the ocean from one end, treat it and pump it out at the other end to supply it to the pool.
