A cute photograph doing rounds on internet space since at least 2012 claims to show a Furry Albino Spider newly discovered in Australia. The photograph, however, does not show a factual Spider.

Posable Doll

Yes, seen in the picture is in fact a Posable Doll Albino Spider coming from artist Jesse Franks. It has a polymer clay face painted in acrylics and the body is faux fur. You can see couple of other pictures of the doll in Image Gallery. The photograph was falsely shared as an albino spider on social media sites like Facebook and Image sharing websites like Pinterest.

Albino Spider

In 2011, a new “albino” spider was indeed discovered in Australia as scientists were shocked. The newfound Trapdoor Spider wasn’t a true albino, as it still had some pigment – its body being brown (fourth picture in Image Gallery). According to the Elder Scrolls Wikia website elderscrolls.wikia.com, there are many variants of the Albino Spider, including the Flame Cloak Spider and the Jumping Flame Spider.
