'Do' Close Your Facebook Account ASAP | NWO and Martial Law Coming Soon
1. Facebook is Run by the CIA
2. Close your facebook account now, government is spying on you!
Hoax or Fact:
Video messages claim to show a news footage where the Deputy CIA Director Christopher Sartinsky is shown to disclose that Facebook has replaced all the information gathering process of CIA, becoming the major Central Intelligence Agency information program after it was launched in 2004. The video also shows the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg being awarded a medal for being a good CIA agent. Although the video appears like a genuine news report, the message conveyed is not a fact. The video is basically a satirical production of The Onion News.
Source of Video
The source of the video is an article from The Onion News network website theonion.com titled "CIA's 'Facebook' Program Dramatically Cut Agency's Costs". But as suggested in their about information, not many knew that The Onion is a satirical publication and went on to believe it to be a fact. That is how the videos came up warning people to close their Facebook accounts - saying CIA is spying over the users.
The video was a fake newscast, where pundits were shown to call Facebook a "massive online surveillance program run by the CIA". Needless to say, Christopher Sartinsky shown in the video is not the Deputy CIA Director, but an actor, and Mark Zuckerberg did not win any such medal for being CIA agent. As of this writing, David S. Cohen is the Deputy CIA Director, in office since 9th February 2015.
Therefore people need not close their Facebook accounts. However, it is also a fact that there are many credible reports suggesting that CIA watches over the social networking profiles of people, like Facebook, Twitter and MySpace. Even many employers now routinely check Facebook and Twitter profiles of their employees and would-be employees. So it's wise to be careful of what you share on your social networking profiles. And as far as the partnership of CIA and Facebook is concerned, it would be difficult to answer that question, as extraordinary claims need extraordinary evidence.
