Analysis:
A message on social media sites in India and elsewhere online claims Baahubali Superstar Prabhas Donated 120 Crores to Soldiers Killed in Naxal Attack. Other versions of it said the movie director S.S. Rajamouli, or the movie team has donated the first day collection of the movie Baahubali 2: The Conclusion – to CRPF Soldiers Killed in a Naxal Attack. The stories also accompanied a photograph showing the actor Prabhas meeting the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. No, as explained below, the claims that Baahubali Team or Prabhas Donated 120 Crores to Soldiers killed in naxal attack are not true.

Has Prabhas Donated 120 Crores to Soldiers?
After the huge success of the historic fiction film Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, various messages flooded on social media. They said the Baahubali team had donated Rs 120 Crore (the first day’s collection of the film) to the families of 25 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel killed by Naxals in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district in Feb. 2017. When a team of 99 CRPF personnel was carrying out a sanitization exercise for an under-construction road, nearly 300 Naxals attacked them. However, there is no such official information about donation from any of the actors, team members or makers of Baahubali movie. The messages appear like fabrication of pranksters in the light of huge success of the movie.
On the other hand, the picture in question is an old one from late July 2015. Prabhas met Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting him to watch the Baahubali 1 (Baahubali: The Beginning) movie that was a huge success, creating history at box office. Along with Prabhas, his uncle and veteran actor Krishnam Raju and his wife were also present at the meet. At the time, the Indian PM also tweeted about their meet on his official Twitter account:
Met ‘Baahubali’ Prabhas today. pic.twitter.com/Qs44yENsOL
— Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) July 26, 2015
So the picture stories saying the actor Prabhas, director S.S. Rajamouli or the Baahubali team has donated 120 Crores to the families of soldiers killed in Naxal attack in Sukma are hoaxes.
Hoax or Fact:
Hoax.
