The popular story purports to show a great picture of Joker Heath Ledger Skating Over Batman Christian Bale during a break on the set of The Dark Knight movie. In the picture Heath Ledger is in full Joker makeup and outfit and appears to do a kickflip over Christian Bale as Batman lying on ground. Although widely shared, the picture is not what it appears as Heath Ledger Skating over Batman.

The Dark Knight is a 2008 blockbuster movie which made Heath Ledger popular in the supervillain Joker character. In fact, the picture is shared as a shot from the filming of the movie in Chicago. As mentioned by The Movie Stills Database website moviestillsdb.com, the picture is a publicity still of Heath Ledger from The Dark Knight movie. However, the original picture does not have the Skateboard – it was in fact added later. Nonetheless, Heath Ledger was a known Skateboarder and there are many online memes around him. For your information, the acclaimed actor unfortunately died few months after completing his role in The Dark Knight film. He was just 28 and died from an accidental intoxication from prescription drugs.
