About Paul Walker’s Death

As reported by TMZ.com, Paul Walker died on 30 November, 2013 in a fiery car crash accident and explosion in Southern California. Paul was traveling along with his friend Roger Rodas (driving) in the two-seater Porsche Carrera GT when Roger somehow lost control of car and slammed into a post or a tree and then the car burst into flames. The death was also declared on Paul Walker’s official Facebook page.

LiveLeak released photos of the bodies in the crash (Graphic warned). The autopsy reports said that both Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rodas died almost instantly from the ‘combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries’ in the fiery crash. The detailed documents of the autopsy report were released by mainstream media. The video shows few snapshots from the private funeral ceremony of Paul Walker that took place on 14 December 2013.

Fake Death Picture

Post the death of Paul Walker in car crash, a graphic image purporting to show a postmortem photo of him with facial injuries has been spreading online. The claim is a hoax, the picture does not show Paul Walker; it is Alan Dennis, an American charity worker who seriously got injured in a construction mishap in Congo in 2011. He was lucky to survive. Paul Walker’s body was initially unidentifiable in the severe car crash that burst into flames.

Death Controversy Online

Some people believed that TMZ, the first to report Paul Walker’s death, is a light-hearted news source known for its celebrity gossip over factual coverage. Then there was a hoax article from MediaMass website that said the death of Paul Walker was all a hoax. The MediaMass project is a ‘reverse’ criticism of media through satire. To add to this confusion, another website nodisinfo.com has been publishing many articles suggesting Paul Walker’s death was a hoax and he is still alive. Again, those are not facts; the website basically publishes all conspiracy theories that are not always facts.

All this disinformation spreading online created confusion over the death of Paul Walker. Some versions also said that the Paul Walker’s death is an internet hoax meant to promote his upcoming movie ‘Fast and Furious 7‘. Yes, it is a fact that there were many celebrity death hoaxes in the past, but it is ironical to question the validity of death of a star who passed away in a fiery car crash.

Hoax or Fact:

Hoax.
