Fact Check:
A widespread story online alleges that Queen Elizabeth Suspends Prince Harry and Markle’s Wedding, indicating royal tension. Some versions mentioned tussle over prenuptial agreement (before marriage) between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Others said it was because of Markle’s ‘liberal activist’ views. So, let us find out whether the Queen suspending the royal wedding of her grandson is true or not.
Origin of Stories
The royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is scheduled to take place on 19 May 2018 in England. The story in question seems to have stemmed from certain anonymous reports in December 2017, like an article on OK! Magazine website okmagazine.com. The article titled “Meghan Markle & Prince Harry’s First Fight About A Prenup!” carried the short report given below, but was deleted later.
Life may seem ideal for Meghan Markle right now as she spends Christmas with the royals and plans her May wedding to Prince Harry, but according to an insider, there’s already trouble in paradise for the newly engaged pair! Meghan isn’t happy that she’s been asked to sign a prenuptial agreement before her wedding next year, and she’s feeling homesick and stir-crazy in her new London home. The built-up frustration finally led to Harry and Meghan’s first fight, just a few days after they announced their engagement!

Later in December 2017, website YourNewsWire.com came up with a breaking story titled “Queen Elizabeth Suspends Wedding After Meghan Markle Calls Herself ‘Liberal Activist’” and carried the headline:
Meghan Markle’s “game-playing and histrionics” over the Christmas weekend left such a bad taste in Queen Elizabeth’s mouth that she has forced the future princess to sign a prenuptial agreement with Prince Harry – or else the wedding is off.

The article went on to mention the problem with Meghan Markle is she calling herself an “activist” on her Twitter page, and is a noted hater of the President of the United States. It further mentions the report of OK! magazine explained above.
Queen Elizabeth Suspends Prince Harry and Markle’s Wedding?
As a matter of fact, Markle was not using her social media accounts for some time, and in January 2018 she deleted her Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts. Moreover, a family lawyer has earlier claimed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will not sign a prenuptial agreement before their royal wedding. The website YourNewsWire is not a reliable source of information. In past it has published hoax stories like Donald Trump will Legalize Marijuana in all 50 States and Russia Put Black Lives Matter on Official ‘Terror List’. Like OK! magazine reported, there is no credible information about tussle between Harry and Markle over prenuptial agreement.
Therefore, the claim that Queen Elizabeth suspends Prince Harry and Markle’s wedding is a hoax.
