భైంసా పట్టణంలో నిన్న రాత్రి (12-జనవరి – 9- గంటల ప్రాంతంలో)  ఒక ముస్లిం యువకుడు బైక్ పై వీధిలో హంగామా చేస్తుంటే స్థానిక యువకులు మందలించి వదిలివేశారు.

దీన్ని దృష్టిలో.పెట్టుకొని ప్రతీకారం తీర్చుకోవాలి అనే ఉద్దేశ్యం తో 400-500 మంది ముస్లిం లు  హిందువులు పై ప్రణాళిక  బద్దంగా దాడి చేశారు.

హిందువులు తక్కువగా ఉన్న కొర్బా వీధిలో హిందువుల కు చెందిన  18 ఇండ్లను తగలబెట్టారు..ఇందులో స్థానిక హిందు వాహిని కార్యకర్త ఇంటిని లక్షంగా చేసుకున్నారు..

ఘటనా స్థలానికి చేరుకున్న పోలీసులపై రాళ్ళ దాడి చేస్తూ, ఫైర్ ఇంజన్ వాహనాల పైపులను కోయడం జరిగింది. ఇండ్లను సైతం లూటీ చేశారు..

దాడిలో పాల్గొన్నవారు స్థానిక ముస్లిం లతో పాటు, నిర్మల్లో ముస్లిం లకు చెందిన ఒక కార్యక్రమానికి వచ్చిన వారు ఉన్నారు అని స్థానికులు అంటున్నారు..

ఇందులో 8 మంది పోలీసులకు తీవ్ర గాయాలు అయ్యాయి. 18  హిందువుల ఇండ్లు ద్వంసం…అనేక ఇండ్లలో లూటీ..

About the Communal Clash in Bhainsa Town

The communal clash in Bhainsa town of Telangana broke out during midnight of 12th January 2020 on Sunday. Some unknown youngsters sounded horns at night disturbing the residents of Korva Colony. Annoyed Hindu residents reprimanded the bikers, who later came back with Muslim gangs and escalated it into stone pelting and then communal fight began. Rioters set motorbikes and some houses on fire and also looted them. They even attacked the cops trying to maintain peace and cut off pipes of fire engines dousing the flames in the colony. Many people, including some police officials were injured in the narrow bylanes of Korba galli and Bhoi galli. The videos below show some glimpses from the crime scene.

Heavy forces including Riot gear policemen were deployed in Bhainsa town to bring the situation into control. Incidents of stone pelting were reported till next day afternoon. Internet service was shut down in Nirmal, Adilabad, Mancherial and Asifabad districts to prevent rumors and stop further violence. Section 144 was also imposed the next day. A senior police official said about 65 people from both groups were taken into custody over the clashes.

Violence After Religious Gathering

Bhainsa is situated in Nirmal district and has considerable Muslim population close to fifty percent. The place is in fact dominated by AIMIM (All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen) and sensitive in terms of law and order situations. Earlier in 2008, Bhainsa saw major communal clashes taking away lives of many people. This time the communal violence took place in Bhainsa ahead of Municipal elections on 22nd January.
