Fact Check:
The pictures in question surfaced online in mid-April 2018, after the Kathua Rape Case in India involving horrific murder of an 8-year-old girl, Asifa Bano. Allegedly, the Justice for Asifa T-Shirt Pictures taken at Istanbul Airport show some printed quotes on back, under the tag #JusticeforAsifa. While one warns “Beware in sending your females to India” carrying the tag #JusiceforAsifa, other says “Women are not worthy as cows in India“. Another picture has two men, one of whose T-Shirt shows the warning print “Women! let India be your last country to visit, as it’s your graveyard“. Between protests about Justice for Asifa, the pictures garnered much importance; also for the fact that India was shown in bad light. Surprisingly, the Justice for Asifa T-Shirt Pictures, allegedly taken at Istanbul Airport, are Not Real and are Photoshop creations.
On 16th of April 2018, the pictures in question appeared on Facebook account of Syed Saleem (Al Haj) from Hyderabad carrying a message to forward them worldwide.
Some social media users in fact shared the pictures; amidst the burning issue of the Kathua rape case. Consequently, viewers went on to believe the pictures with controversial quotes are from Istanbul.


Justice for Asifa T-Shirt Pictures Photoshopped
In the zoomed-in pictures of Justice for Asifa (shown above), you can see some traces of photoshop editing. Moreover, you can also see the original photograph of two men not carrying any kind of printed quote about justice for Asifa. Even Photo Forensic images reveal the photoshop editing involved in the pictures. Correspondingly, different colors highlight the editing pixels.

Therefore, the Justice for Asifa T-Shirt Pictures at Istanbul Airport are photoshopped ones, part of a hoax fabricated and spread on social media.
