Not Muslims Attack on Christmas Tree

Our search reveals the mall location in the video is not in America, Sweden or elsewhere. It in fact comes from the Mall of Arabia in Cairo, Egypt. More importantly, the footage does not show a group of Muslims (or Arabs) attacking or actually destroying a Christmas Tree. It is in fact a common post-holiday tradition called “Christmas tree plundering,” also known as “Dancing out Christmas” or “Throw out the Tree”. People strip the Christmas tree of its ornaments and hidden gifts giving them to children before disposing off the tree later on. The tradition originated in Sweden and spread to other countries marking the end of the Christmas and holiday season. You can see in the video, the Christmas tree is actually set up in a way for people to climb up. You can see some people wearing scarves on heads and also Christmas hats.
