BSF Jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav dead – killed!
1. BSF Jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav Killed
2. Looks like Indian BSF Jawan, Tej Bahadur Yadav who exposed indian army thievery & corruption & then went missing, has been killed. #Kashmir
3. Indian soldier has been killed who uploaded Indian Army food video on social media
A composite picture shared heavily on social media sites in India and elsewhere online claims to show that the ‘Whistle Blower’ of Border Security Force (BSF), Jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav was found dead – suggesting he was killed. The BSF Jawan (Constable) Tej Bahadur Yadav has earlier posted a video on Facebook raising concerns over quality of food served in forward locations. The video went viral soon, and he became popular through social media. But the person dead in the photograph is not the BSF Jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav, he is pretty much alive.
Origin of Photograph
The photograph in question seems to have originated from a retweet of Twitter account Pakistan Army – ISI. A Pakistani soldier Amer Khan posted it saying – Indian soldier has been killed who uploaded Indian Army food video on social media. Ram Subramanium, the ex- media advisor of Aam Aadmi party in India also shared it.
Tej Bahadur Yadav Not Dead
After the allegations of Tej Bahadur Yadav’s death, Border Security Force spokesperson and Yadav’s wife Sarmila dismissed them as rumours. They said he was very much alive and healthy. They also added that Tej Bahadur Yadav was in Jammu and Kashmir, pending a court of inquiry into the BSF’s claims of “indiscipline and intoxication”, which came as a reaction to his video. Coming to the dead person in the picture, sources say he is CRPF Jawan Hira Ballabh Bhatt killed in a naxal attack on 11th March 2017 in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. With his one eye covered up by cloth, he looked similar to BSF Jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav. Therefore, the picture stories claiming BSF ‘Whistle Blower’ Jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav was killed are just hoaxes; he is alive and well.
