World’s Tallest Woman
Tallest woman in the world 9 ft 2 inches tall size 22 shoes.
A picture message in circulation on social media and image sharing websites purports to show the World’s Tallest Woman measuring 9 Feet 2 Inches, with a shoe size of 22. The picture shows the alleged tallest woman in the world posing with another woman who is very short beside her – almost the size of her legs. On the contrary, we have also seen another similar story claiming to show world’s tallest woman, measuring a little over 7 feet 4 inches. So here, we are going to explain neither of them are true, also mentioning the actual tallest woman in the world.
The photograph in question – showing tallest woman in the world at 9 ft 2 inches is not real. The original picture (shown above) is digitally altered to make her taller than what she actually is. It appeared earlier on the website of writer Danielle Warby, a writer and advocate for women in sport. The woman, Liz Cambage is an Australian professional basketball player and she is 6’8″ tall. As told in the message, she is not 9 feet tall and is not the world’s tallest woman.
We have seen there’s another message in circulation showing some photographs of tallest/biggest woman in the world, measuring a little over 7 feet 4 inches (shown above). The photographs show the woman in giant size when compared to the people she is standing beside. Nonetheless, the woman, Heather Haven is not the world’s tallest woman. As mentioned on her website heatherhaven.com, the woman is 6’5 ½” tall on bare feet and 7’2 ¼” in her favorite high-heels. The people she is photographing with are shorter than the average height of a man/woman. Those pictures appear on her website where she promotes her products.
World’s Tallest Woman
The world’s tallest woman ever in recorded history, according to Guinness World Records website guinnessworldrecords.com, is Zeng Jinlian from China’s Hunan Province. She was 246.3 cm (8 ft 1 in) tall when she died on 13 February 1982 at the early age of 17. Unfortunately, she suffered from both Scoliosis and Diabetes. The tallest woman living title belonged to Yao Defen from China again, who measured a height of 233.3 cm (7 ft 7 in). Sadly, she too died in November 2012 at the age of 40.
