1. Take 1/4 cup turmeric powder (preferably original, not processed one), mix it with 1/2 cup of pure water and heat it on low flame for about 7 minutes, stirring constantly, and adding water if necessary, so as to make a fairy creamy paste. Once cooled, put the turmeric paste in a glass jar and store in fridge. This preparation shall be good to use for up to one month.

2. Add 1/2 to 1 tsp of the turmeric paste to 1 cup of hot milk, preferably Cow milk because it contains magnesium that is good for your bones. Gently heat and stir the mixture well.

3. Add 1/2 tsp. of oil like almond, sesame or coconut oil that acts as a lubricant to your body joints.

4. You can also add some black pepper to golden milk to enhance the absorption rate of curcumin in your body.

5. People who do not like the taste of golden milk can add a sweetener like Honey, it’s better to avoid adding artificial sugar. To add flavor to your turmeric milk, you can also add a bit of warming spice like ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, clove, or nutmeg.
