Analysis:
The message claims that the silver coating on scratch cards and tickets
are made of Silver Nitro Oxide, which on scratching can cause skin cancer. But neither they are made of such a compound, nor they lead to any such health hazards. The scratch cards are actually made from specialized latex inks, which are not really harmful to human skin. And there is no particular evidence that such a compound called “Silver Nitro Oxide” exists. Silver Nitric Oxide has been used in manufacturing industry, but they do not know about Silver Nitro Oxide. Chemical engineers have confirmed that Nitric Oxide, commonly called laughing gas does not have any side effects that can lead to skin cancer.
Also, our research says that the aforementioned organization in the name of “Medical Research Authority of the US” does not really exist. There are no cancer risks scratching silver cards. This message is just a hoax, and therefore it need not be forwarded.
