Boil it for 10 minutes and put off the fire.
Allow it to cool down by itself.

These are long running messages claiming to suggest a miracle home remedy/treatment from Dr Tony Almeida for curing Diabetes. The homemade medicine comprises of wheat, tree gum, barley and black seeds, and when taken for a fortnight is claimed to have cured diabetes in a 65 year old woman. This mysterious cure for diabetes is supposedly found by Dr. Tony Almeida, a Kidney speciality expert in Bombay (the present Mumbai in India). Not really!

Firstly, there is no kidney speciality expert by name Tony Almeida in Bombay, India. Tony (Anthony) Almeida is a fictional character in U.S. played by Carlos Bernard on the television series 24. He is an agent hired by the Counter Terrorist Unit based in Los Angeles. The picture that comes with story only shows an African woman using a diabetes test kit. This story is also circulating with another picture, which is again unrelated to the story. It only shows a non-invasive technique of breath analysis.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Beneficent Sheikh Saleh Mohammed Tuwaijiri (May Protection of Allah be on him), the Supreme judge (Qazi) of Tabuk Court has made the extensive experiments with perseverance and patience and discovered a successful treatment for diabetes.
Again, there is no Supreme judge in the name of Sheikh Saleh Mohammed Tuwaijiri. It also makes us wonder why would a judge experiment and discover a treatment for diabetes. The present version of the claim is actually the modified version of this one, ‘validating’ it with a mention of doctor’s name. The message kept circulating ever since, through forums and other social networks. Note, these messages appear as marketing stuff to generate traffic.
Does It Work?
As for the claim in question, many people tried this homemade medicine for curing diabetes. They reported saying when the ingredients are put together and boiled as suggested, everything became a paste and it could not be filtered.
Wheat, Barley and Black Seeds are known to be good in diabetes, but it is a serious disease, and as of now, it can only be controlled, not cured. So considering the aforementioned drawbacks in the claim, the message is possibly hoax. However, studies are going on to find natural means to curb this deadly disease.
