10 newspapers from 1915-1938 claiming 6 million Jews long before the Holocaust even happened.

Other Versions

Reports from 10 newspapers from 1915-1938 before the alleged Nazi instigated Holocaust even happened.

Ever wondered where the 6 million figure came from?
This video shows that the figure was imprinted from the early 1900 right through to 1938.

Analysis:

These messages along with some video ‘proofs’ of old newspaper articles claim to suggest that the ‘6 million Jews’ killed in the Holocaust during Second World War were targeted methodically (or even persecuted) years before the war even started. Let us analyze if there’s any grain of truth in the claim.

About The Holocaust

The Holocaust (derived from Greek words “holos” (whole) and “kaustos” (burned)) was a genocide conducted by the German Nazi regime, under the command of Adolf Hitler, and its collaborators during the Second World War, in which approximately eleven million people, including six million Jews were killed. The mass murder took place between 1941 and 1945 throughout the German Reich and German-occupied territories.

The Nazi leader Adolf Hitler was anti-Semitic, who considered Jews as an inferior race, and an alien threat to German racial purity and community. The Nuremberg Laws (Anti-Semitic legislation) deprived Jews of civil rights, barred them from professions and also prohibited intermarriage with Jews. Most of the Jews were forced to leave the country. During the Holocaust, millions of Jews were targeted and methodically murdered. Under Nazi rule, even Communists were let down and killed in concentration camps.

Before World War II

It is to be noted that the Anti-Semitism in Europe did not start with Adolf Hitler; the term itself dates back to 1870s. Also, the hostility toward Jews is evident long before the Holocaust – and goes as far back as the ancient world. During the Nazi rule in Germany (before WWII), Jews were consistently persecuted, before Hitler’s “final solution” – now known as the Holocaust – came to fruition under the cover of world war.

Inferences

As you can read through all the quoted articles in the video, nowhere it is mentioned that ‘6 million Jews’ were targeted – to be killed – as a part of any mass murder program (Holocaust).

It is repeatedly mentioned that six million Jews (as a section of vulnerable Jewish population) were ill-treated and were in danger.

The six million Jews in danger, also for the economic crisis and famine reasons, needed help, including relief funds.

In the video, it is said that the term Holocaust appeared in The New York Times newspaper article on May 31, 1936 – years before it actually happened during World War II. However, according to the Oxford English Dictionary, the word Holocaust has been used in English since the 18th century, and the earliest attested such usage dates from 1671.

To Conclude

The Holocaust, a genocide that took lives of about 11 million people, including six million Jews, did happen during Second World War, and there is no evidence it was planned years before the Nazi rule in Germany. The ‘6 million Jews’ quoted in the old newspapers, most probably, is for political reasons, also for the grant of relief funds and aid to rehabilitate Jews overseas.

Hoax.
