Analysis:

Picture messages circulating online claim to show a copy of real, third class boarding pass of RMS Titanic ship that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean on 15 April 1912. Yes, it is a fact, but the ticket appears to be a copy of unused one, and not the actual one used on Titanic ship.

As you can see here, the photograph of Titanic ticket, listed in important stories and photos from history, is a third class boarding pass for RMS Titanic ship that sank on 15 April 1912. It was issued by the Oceanic Steam Navigation Company or White Star Line. As mentioned here, it was a one page ticket issued to the passengers on the Titanic. The third-class accommodations on Titanic were often known as steerage, which is why the Titanic ticket reads “THIRD CLASS (STEERAGE) PASSENGER’S CONTRACT TICKET.”

The sinking of RMS Titanic in 1912 has been a tragic, historic event, and till date, many artifacts relating to the ship and its ill-fated sinking are exhibited and even sold online. As you can see on eBay, 1912 Titanic Boston Daily Globe newspaper along with the third class Titanic ticket are sold online.
