A man in Thailand Married a dead girlfriend to fulfill his promise of love.
29-year old Sarinya Kamsook and her 28-year-old boyfriend, Chadil Deffy, were to be married this year. Sarinya Kamsook unfortunately died in a car crash, just day before the big event, Deffy decided to go on with their wedding as planned and married her.
Sarinya was involved in a car crash, leaving her severely injured. She still could have been saved with timely medical attention. However, the doctors made her wait for 6 hours due to an overcrowded ICU instead of transferring her to another hospital. During this time, she succumbed to her injuries and passed away.
During her funeral in Surin, Thailand, Chadil Duffy placed a ring on his deceased bride’s finger. It thus turned out a wedding/funeral ceremony, one of the rare events in the world.

The message comes with a picture showing a man marrying a dead girl, claiming that he is marrying his dead girl friend who died in a car crash. The story is a fact, but comes with some misinformation as described below.
Chadil Deffy, also known as Deff Yingyuen (28) was in love with his girlfriend Sarinya, also called Anne Kamsook (29) since 10 years. According to the Pattaya Daily News, they first met at Thailand’s Eastern Asia University a decade ago and also planned to get married in future, but Deffy wanted to continue with his studies before tying the knot and settling in a marriage. And unfortunately, Sarinya died in an unexpected accident on 3 January 2012, not day before the big event of their proposed marriage, as told in the story. Reports say that Anne was severely injured, and when she was rushed to a hospital, the ICU was overcrowded. The emergency staff allegedly waited for 6 hours, instead of taking her to another hospital, and as a result she succumbed to death.
On January 4, 2012, Chadil Deffy arranged this strange wedding ceremony along with the funeral of the corpse of his bride at Tri Vivek temple, in Surin province of Thailand. He also announced this event on his Facebook page, inviting all his friends to the wedding-funeral rite of his long term girlfriend. Few pictures from this wedding were posted on Deffy’s Facebook account, in an album titled ‘Corpse Bride’ and were also shared on YouTube before it spread like a wildfire. Deffy is presently working as a director of television programs in Thailand, and post the death of Anne, there came many wreaths from her friends, relatives and fellow students from the Eastern Asia University. Many people across the world described this event as a great gesture of love and attachment.
Although there were some mixed reactions about the intentions of Deffy, his friends believed that he merely wanted to make things right and fulfill the wish of his lover.
