An amazing clip in wide circulation online purports to show RAF Flyover Its Coming Home Tribute to England ahead of Croatia Semifinal Clash. Allegedly, a group of United Kingdom’s Royal Air Force (RAF) aircrafts fly over London sky and display “Its Coming Home” in a beautiful synchronization. Because of the beautiful sky display and the FIFA season, the video went viral. Nonetheless, the RAF Flyover Its Coming Home video is not real and is explained below.

RAF Flyover Its Coming Home Video Not Real

The interesting video was first shared on Twitter on 11th July 2018 by Potion Pictures, a motion graphics and animation studio. Because it was shared during FIFA World Cup 2018, the video went viral and many viewers actually believed it is real. The video became popular also because it carried the tag #RAF100 referring to the Centenary celebrations of Royal Air Force.

The next day on 12th July Potion Pictures revealed the video showing aircrafts formation to spell ‘It’s Coming Home’ is not real. They said many were fooled by their manipulated RAF100 flyby video and also shared a video showing how they created it:

On the other hand, on 10th July 2018 the Royal Air Force celebrated their centenary at Buckingham Palace in spectacular manner. On the occasion, various aircrafts came together in sky to display “100” and flew past over Buckingham Palace. You can see the spectacular aircraft formation in the video below:

So, coming back to the story in question again, the RAF Flyover Its Coming Home video is a hoax. Potion Pictures, a motion graphics and animation studio created the video that was not real.
