A ‘creepy’ video doing rounds online claims to show a CCTV footage capturing a dark and transparent ghostly figure walking through vehicles on a busy road in an Indian City. The video also appeared online with other chilling stories like it shows a Ghost crossing busy road in traffic outside a shop in Pangasinan, Philippines. As explained below, the paranormal claims of ghost sighting on the busy road are not facts.
Origin of Story: Ghost Crossing Busy Road
On 9 October 2016 Scary videos YouTube channel published the video with title “Top Best Real Ghost Caught On CCTV footage | Chilling Video Of Ghost Caught On CCTV“. The CCTV camera footage in August 2016 shows a dark transparent ghostly figure emerging from the gates of what appears like a car park. As you can see in the video, the ghostly figure strolls across the road coolly unconcerned about the vehicles speeding down straight through it, and disappears completely from sight as it approaches the pavement. The drivers of vehicles are seemingly unaware of what has happened. Although it is not clear where in the world the CCTV footage was filmed, about a week after publishing the video, the ghostly figure capture was attributed to a busy road in an Indian city.
Actual Facts
In the first place, there are no credible reports authenticating the ghost appearance in the video anywhere in the world. On the other hand, creating such apparitions using CGI is not a difficult job. The ‘Scary videos’ YouTube channel has been posting many paranormal ghost and haunted stories – in Entertainment category. Note, part of their channel description says – We love to hear about ghost we love to make stories about real ghost – and that – a cam lens can easily capture all supernatural powers presence:
