A video is viral on social media alleging to show Ghost activity as a Ladder is Moving on its Own in underground Parking area of SMS Hospital in Jaipur City of India. The video is doing rounds with different locations of the ‘paranormal’ incident, like in greater Noida area of Uttar Pradesh and Gachibowli or Hyderabad. Despite the viral claims, the ‘scary’ video is nothing unusual or paranormal.
Stories in circulation claim someone witnessed the mysterious incident in underground parking area of SMS Hospital in Jaipur City of India. The brief video appears to show a two way metal ladder moving forward without anyone visible around. They also accompany some images alleging to show various ghostly apparitions in the underground parking area of Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital. After seeing the ‘scary’ video, some viewers suggested the ladder moving is a sign of paranormal and supernatural ghost activity.
Ladder Moving On its Own, Ghost Activity?
The first glimpse of the short video suggests probability of something unusual involved in motion of the ladder as no person is visible around it. We found the video in fact shows the basement area of Mahagun Moderne society in greater Noida area of Uttar Pradesh. It is not the underground parking area of SMS Hospital in Jaipur.
Some viewers suggested paranormal activity in moving the ladder. Others gave logical explanations like video is staged or perhaps edited. Close observation of the video reveals the truth is in fact much simpler and has logical explanation.
Uneven ladder moving down the Slippery, Inclined Slope
The ladder is moving because one of its legs is small and the floor is slippery and inclined down. The video is shot precisely at the point of time when the uneven, two way ladder moves (slides) down the slope.
Similar Video Viral in Past
A similar video went viral online earlier showing a ladder motion down an incline. In that case, someone might have pushed the ladder gently down the incline and the springs inside it could have helped in gradual motion of the ladder.
Coming back to the video in question, someone shot the incident briefly perhaps to create some scare, mischief or with the very intention of making a viral video with paranormal, ghost claims. So, the incident is not anything mysterious and does not involve any paranormal or supernatural ghost activity. It is simple physics shown out of context and exaggerated. Needless to say, the images of ghostly apparitions are CGI or Photoshop creations.
