The messages say such weird creatures are reported in rural areas of Russia and Europe, also raising speculations they are strange extra-terrestrial insects. Fortunately, it is not the case!
About the Video: Alien Crawling Over Buildings in Russia?
As shown in the video, the footage claims to show an alien life form crawling over a residential building at night-time. The huge, black creature has small body and four long limbs that are able to stretch as it crawls. Many websites referred the creature as a strange type of 4-legged spider or some kind of alien stick-insect.

The story was originally posted in Alien Disclosure Group’s UK blog in October 2013, where the footage is shown and questioned whether that was an alien insect creeping down a building in Russia. However, certain aspects of the footage question the authenticity of the creature. Firstly, the unusually large creature does not form any kind of shadows in the footage, and more over the Camera shakes unusually – and is set to record the creature even before it comes into frame. Also, if any such unusual creatures are really reported in Russia and Europe, it should have easily made into the mainstream news. The footage does not show any alien insect or creature, it in fact depicts a popular internet meme called the Slender Man shown in Images.
The Slender Man
The Slender Man is a fictional character that originated as an internet meme to contain supernatural entities. It is depicted as resembling a thin, unnaturally tall man with a blank face, and wearing a black suit. The Slender Man character is not tied to any particular story, but appears in many disparate works of fiction. Slender Man is lately featured in online horror stories that keep circulating from site to site, i.e. Creepypasta. As mentioned in the description of the fictional character, the Slender Man is said to have extremely long, slender arms and legs, who also appears to have 4 to 8 long, black tentacles that protrude from his back and can even ‘contract’.
The fictional character of Slender Man became popular online, and probably that is why it is portrayed as a creepy alien creature in the present hoax footage that is probably made using CGI. Since the video is shared during Halloween time, it can as well be a related prank. With the link shown in the footage, the video is perhaps created to market the blog of Alien Disclosure Group – UK.
