A set of pictures shared heavily on social media and image sharing websites claims to show the Tomb (Grave), Feet (Footprint) and Cloak (Kurta) of the Prophet (Hazrat) Adam AS in Sri Lanka. These stories have been circulating in Hindi and Urdu languages as well. The said claims, however, are not facts.

Giant Footprint

The picture showing a giant footprint like formation is in fact a mystery in Southern Aceh Beach of Tapaktuan town in Indonesia. According to a legend, the footprint is of a giant ascetic named Tapa. You can watch a glimpse of the mysterious giant footprint in Indonesia in the video here.

Large Tomb

Long Kurta

The long Kurta seen in the picture is actually a replica of Prophet Adam’s AS Kurta as per measurements of the Prophet mentioned in Ahadith, produced as an example of his height.

So the claims that the set of pictures show the Tomb (Grave), Feet (Footprint) and Cloak (Kurta) of the Prophet (Hazrat) Adam AS in Sri Lanka are hoaxes.
