Fact Check:
A brief creepy footage is shared widely on WhatsApp, YouTube and social media sites as the CCTV video of a Real Ghost Climbing Hospital Pillar in India. In fact, there are various stories saying the incident happened at different Hospitals in India. So, let us examine whether or not the creepy woman-like figure is a Real Ghost Climbing Hospital Pillar in India.
Not a Real Ghost Climbing Hospital Pillar in India
Once the video went viral online, Hindi news channel in India, ABP News investigated into the authenticity of the said CCTV footage. They checked at the hospital locations mentioned in the stories and revealed no such creepy incident happened. Also, there are no news reports about any such scary incident to have happened in any part of India.
Flaws with the Claim and the Video
The video appeared online earlier as well with stories saying the incident happened in places outside India. For example, one version said the video shows a – Jinn (ghost) climbing pillar in house at Karachi Pakistan. Other versions also suggested some young men shot the scary clip in the middle of night when they got up for urinating. They said it showed a creepy woman sleep walking. So, from the aforementioned facts, it is clear the scary video is not from any Hospital in India.
Coming to the flaws in the video, you can see the camera shaking around a bit – suggesting it could not be a fixed CCTV camera footage. Moreover, a close look at the video will reveal there are hints of editing involved in the video. It does not show proper shadow formations of the scary woman-like feature. There’s unusual brisk rise of hands while climbing, and extraordinary stretch of legs at times.

Not Ghost
Our search also revealed the video was shared in late April 2018 by Facebook page Denaihati Network. The post carried a description in Malay language which roughly translates to saying the video is a Telemovie, and a fabricated one. It also named the video credit to Nidal Haiqal, who happens to be a Stunt Performer at Movie Animation Park Studios in Malaysia and also a Filmmaker, according to his Facebook information.
So, the messages claiming to show the CCTV video of a Real Ghost Climbing Hospital Pillar in India are certainly hoaxes. The video is not from India; it is an old one most probably from Malaysia. The video is probably made using computer animation – it does not show any real ghost. It’s also possible a stuntman/stuntwoman could have climbed the pillar with strings attached, and the video is later edited to remove the strings.
Hoax or Fact:
Hoax.
