Analysis:
A viral video doing rounds online claims to show a Woman discovering terrifying reason why she can’t sleep at night after watching her bedroom cam — an eerie ‘Ghost’ appears to open her bedroom door and pull off her bedsheet. Although the appearance of Orbs at various places in the video is suggested as a proof of ghost presence and the incident appears spooky, the alleged paranormal activity is not a fact.

Origin of Video
On 25 Sep. 2016 Jukin Media website jukinmedia.com posted the video in question with a description saying the woman captured paranormal activity in her bedroom. When the woman was sleeping, her bathroom door flung wide open and her bedsheets began to slide off, before she quickly woke up and tried to figure out what was going on. The next day Iris J Alamo shared the video on her Facebook page saying it took her almost a year to catch something on video and figure out probably why she can’t sleep at night. She also mentioned that the video was verified by Jukin Media. Soon the video was also mentioned in few online outlets like Daily Star website dailystar.co.uk, which is how the story went viral.

Coming to the point whether or not the ‘ghost activity’ shown in the video is real, a close observation of the footage between 11 to 20 seconds will reveal that after the door starts opening, some dark object (perhaps her mobile that she picks up later in the video) falls across the bottom right corner of the woman’s pillow, and you can also see some movement at bottom right corner of rightmost pillow on her bed. Also note her hand is very close to the object when the bedsheet is allegedly pulled off by the ghost. Perhaps, it’s a case of invisible strings attached. The sliding down of her bedsheet possibly happened as the woman gradually moved down one of her own folded legs (one lying up over other, under the bedsheet). The lights turning on and off are pretty much possible artificially, and the orbs seen in the video can be pieces of airborne dust that are not rare occurrences in a night vision cam.
So the above explanation clearly suggests that the ‘ghost attack’ on the woman sleeping in her bedroom, captured on cam, is a certain hoax. Few days earlier to posting this video there was another paranormal claim where a Car drives through the body of a ‘Ghost girl’. The Mexico City ghost video was later revealed to be a publicity stunt for a Beer Company, building up to the Day of the Dead on November 1.
