Barack Obama Most Admired Man in the World Consecutively for 11 Years
Barack Obama Has Been the ‘Most Admired Man’ in the World for 11 Years
Certain messages doing rounds on social media and other websites mention about Barack Obama Most Admired Man in the World, Consecutively for 11 Years. The claim as such is a fact with some missing information, which is explained below.
Barack Obama Most Admired Man in the World?
In late December 2018, like every year, Gallup released their annual survey poll of Most Admired Man and Woman, 2018. They in fact asked Americans to name the man and woman living anywhere in the world today whom they admire most. Barack Obama topped the list for 11th consecutive year. In effect, Obama topped the list once as a president-elect, eight times as president and twice as former president. However, Gallup Analytics, based in United States Capital Washington, D.C., asks only adult Americans, so the results of the survey would be more of US-centric rather than global. To put it more precisely, Barack Obama is America’s Most Admired Man for the 11th year in a row.
Surprisingly, according to the 2018 survey of Gallup, Michelle Obama is America’s Most Admired Woman, breaking the Hillary Clinton’s 16-year run on top. On the other hand, among men, President Donald Trump ranked second next to Barack Obama on top.
