Conspiracy theorists believe that pop singer Katy Perry is actually murdered child beauty pageant star JonBenét Ramsey. The theories became popular after a YouTube video of the conspiracy posted back in December 2014 by Dave Johnson garnered more attention recently. Let us analyze if Katy Perry is really JonBenét Ramsey.
About the Video and Claims
In his YouTube video, the uploader Dave Johnson shares various pictures of Katy Perry, JonBenét Ramsey and their parents, saying all those people who say JonBenét Ramsey had died are liars. He says the death of JonBenét Ramsey was staged, and that it was a sacrifice in name only – so that JonBenet Ramsey can become the star Katy Perry. To validate his claims Dave Johnson mentions facial similarities (and eyebrows) between Katy Perry and JonBenét Ramsey, and the same with their parent’s as well. He says JonBenét’s father John Ramsey shaved his head to become Maurice Keith Hudson, the father of Katy Perry, and her mother Patsy Ramsey has lost her weight to become Mary Christine, the mother of Katy Perry (see pictures below).
Actual Facts
Firstly, Katy Perry was born in 1984, six years before JonBenét Ramsey was born in 1990, and Katy’s childhood is well documented. JonBenét Ramsey was murdered at the age of six as she was found dead in her Boulder, Colorado home in 1996, and an autopsy of her body was also performed. Ramsey’s murder is still unsolved, although her late parents have long been suspects. So just because her death has been a mystery, it does not mean JonBenét Ramsey is alive, or that her death was staged.
Coming to Dave Johnson’s claim that Katy Perry is JonBenét Ramsey, it is noteworthy he has produced many other similar stories in his YouTube channel, like saying Donald Trump is Joe Biden, Prince Charles is Sir Richard Branson and Jimmy Hendrix is Lionel Ritchie. Also, this is not the first time that a pop singer has been accused of being an adult JonBenét Ramsey. Earlier there were also stories saying Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse & JonBenet Ramsay are the same person.
In short, pop singers Katy Perry, or for that matter, Lady Gaga or Amy Winehouse is not the child beauty pageant JonBenét Ramsey. The child star Ramsey lost her life in an unfortunate and mysterious murder back in 1996.
