Some ‘surprising’ videos and pictures are shared on social media sites purporting to show former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu Serving in a Hotel after losing in elections. Some also shared them with satirical messages saying the politician who dreamed of becoming Prime Minister has ‘started to work’. Despite close resemblance in face, the man serving food in a hotel is not the former CM Chandrababu Naidu.
With his grey hair and beard, the man serving food in a kaka hotel looks uncannily similar to former AP CM Chandrababu Naidu. A short video became popular on social media after director Ram Gopal Varma shared it on Twitter with a ‘funny’ caption post the election results in AP, where Chandrababu failed to win.
Not Ex-CM Chandrababu Naidu Serving in Hotel
Pictures and videos of the man serving in a hotel became popular earlier also around October 2018. While many curious viewers inquired about his whereabouts, Ram Gopal Varma jumped in and announced 1 lakh reward to anyone who would identify the man and make him get in touch with him. He thought of roping the Chandrababu’s look-alike into his film Lakshmi’s NTR.
Obviously, the man serving food in a kaka hotel is not Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President and former AP CM Chandrababu Naidu. An October 2018 article on TeluguOdu website teluguodu.com said the man’s name is Prabhu and he worked at a hotel in Trimbakeswar, in the Nashik District of Maharashtra. Accordingly, the video was shot in 2017 and the look-alike looked like below later on.
If you are interested in look-alikes, there was another one in past during 2012 election campaign in Tirupati. Some party leaders introduced to the TDP Chief his die-hard fan who looked just like him.
