Origin of Story

The story in question originated from a 9 December 2015 article on website thuglifevideos.com, according to which, a 28-year-old Michigan man, Ralph Holden strangled his 26-year-old girlfriend Wendy Miller and choked her to death – because she would not make eye contact with him when he was trying to have a conversation with her. The story comes with a screenshot of what is shown as a breaking news report of the incident, showing the accused man having split eyes. The ‘report’ also mentions a police official responding with a joke saying which way the accused was looking and which eye he wanted to make contact with.

Yes, the article and the story is simply a humor and satirical publication, because as mentioned in their about information, Thug Life Videos website creates and shares Thug Life videos and general entertainment news, along with odd satire stories.

About the Picture

The picture that comes with the story, supposedly showing the murderer Ralph Holden, is in fact, Roberto Rodriguez, a middle-school soccer coach who was sentenced in sexual assault case. You can view a brief report of the case on website westword.com. Note that the man has normal eyes; the picture is edited to show he has split eyes.

So the story that a crazed man strangled his girlfriend to death just because she ‘wouldn’t make eye contact with him’ is a hoax that originated from a satirical article.
