Couple of photographs in circulation online come with a strange story claiming a man slept with someone else’s wife in Edo State (Nigeria) and got cursed. Allegedly, his hands and legs switched places immediately. The story, which also warns promiscuous men and to be careful of married women, is not at all true.

The claim in question is doing rounds online since few years and also went viral on social media sites. The two strange photographs show a Nigerian man with hands as legs and legs as hands in weird way. The fact of the matter is, the ‘alleged victim’ is actually Yoruba (language spoken in West Africa) movie actor Tunde Usman aka Okele, and as mentioned in website Cliqloaded.net, the scenes show the actor pictured while playing the role of a man with hands as legs and legs as hands. Some online sources falsely mentioned the photos are the handiwork of a talented Nollywood (Nigerian popular film industry) makeup artist Hakeem Onilogbo Ajibola. However, when we checked with him, he confirmed the pictures are from a movie set, with special effects – not his work.

So the photographs do not show a man cursed for sleeping with someone else’s wife. They in fact show Nigerian actor Okele pictured on a movie set. Okele shared the two pictures on his Instagram account; you can see them here and here.
