Real UFO Caught On Camera in Mariupol, Ukraine

A video clip in circulation on Facebook purports to show a Real UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) in Sky Caught on Camera from an apartment window in Mariupol, Ukraine. The date displayed in the beginning of the video suggests the UFO sighting occurred on 17th August 2017. So let us analyze whether the ‘real UFO’ seen in the video is true or not.

Origin of UFO Video

The video in question, allegedly showing a ‘flying saucer’ kind of lighted UFO was posted on 17th August 2017 by – a new – Facebook page This is Amazing, presenting it as a ‘Real UFO Caught On Camera’. It was shared by a popular Facebook page LikeWorld and others, making it popular.

About Its Authenticity

Firstly, the video has a dramatic sound in background as the UFO appears, and looks like the camera is planned to record the sighting in the sky outside the window of an apartment building. The flying saucer like object appears static, while the camera appears to shake unusually. Moreover, there are no credible news reports of the alleged UFO sighting in Sky in Ukraine or elsewhere.

In past we have seen such UFO and paranormal creature videos shot in similar fashion, from similar places. The video below shows some giant, thin creature crawling over block of buildings in Samara (City in Russia). In the next video, you can see another video of crawling creature at night, followed by the same clipping. The videos were animated using 3D graphics and did not show any paranormal or alien creatures.

Coming back to the video of alleged UFO sighting in Ukraine, it is either a reflection of UFO shaped ceiling lamp on the window, a superimposed image, or an animated added feature to create a paranormal effect to make the video viral. So the claim that the video shows a real UFO caught on camera in Mariupol, Ukraine is a hoax.
