Analysis:

The video in circulation online, especially in discussion forums and on social media websites, claims to show that a Suicide Bomber by name Akbar falls off his Skateboard by mistake and blows himself up on an empty street road. Some other version story attached to the video said the suicide bomber seen exploding after falling off a Hoverboard is an ISIS man. But thankfully, the claims are not at all facts, as the explosion shown in the video is not real.

The stories that came with the video suggested that the hapless rider on skateboard/hoverboard was a terrorist or suicide bomber who lost his footing while going down a hill and burst into flames. However, as reported on Daily mail Online website dailymail.co.uk, the real video simply shows a hoverboard fail incident in Dubai, where the man loses his balance suddenly before he is sent hurtling into the road face-first (see second video in this article). That ‘explosion’ part is simply an effect added using video editing software. We have seen few such fake ‘explosive’ video series on YouTube in the name of ‘Skateboard Akbar’.

Pranksters often use such explosive effects at the end of various videos and GIF images to share online; it is in fact a part of popular Meme. For example, this YouTube video shows a ‘Guy drops coffee on skateboard’ incident along with some added explosion effects. So the video claiming to show a Suicide Bomber Akbar or an ISIS man exploding after falling off from his skateboard/hoverboard is a hoax.
