A picture spread wide online claims to show a Giant Alligator spotted on a Florida Golf Course. The picture of monstrous alligator resembled a Dinosaur to a certain extent and sparked a debate whether it was a real photograph or photoshopped one. The picture does in fact show a real alligator.
The picture of the giant gator on a Florida golf course went viral in March 2015 after couple of golfers shared the picture online. It was spotted by a group of golfers preparing to putt on the 7th hole at Myakka Pines Golf Club in Englewood, Florida, U.S. After skeptics raised doubts about the authenticity of the giant gator picture, the Golf Club confirmed on their Facebook page that the pictures taken by Dick Huber and Bill Susie are real:
Above two pictures show the same alligator called Goliath moving around the golf course. The alligator measuring about 13 feet long was actually moving from one pond to another in the golf course. And interestingly, alligators are not uncommon here; they are all around Myakka Pines Golf Club. Myakka Pines general manager Mickie Zada said that an even larger, 15-foot gator called “Big George” had lived on the golf course for a decade before he died (picture below). Shown in the video below are two giant alligators moving around the Myakka Pines Golf Club.
