Analysis:
Pictures and videos circulating online claim to show a Mysterious Black Ring in the sky over Leamington Spa, England that has supposedly baffled experts and left people scratching their heads. Yes, the incident is a recorded fact, which prompted a wave of speculation that it could be UFO or something unknown, but was later known to be something ordinary.

The Incident
On the evening of 11th April 2014, 16-year-old schoolgirl Georgina Heap was playing tennis with her mother when she looked up at the sky near Warwick castle to see the mysterious black ring that she photographed on her iPhone. She described it as weird and amazing, floating there like a cloud that disappeared later. You can watch the same mysterious black ring in the video shown.
The black ring reportedly remained in the sky above Leamington Spa for about three minutes before disappearing completely. The circle resembled a giant smoke ring, but since Warwickshire Fire and Rescue service said that there were no reports of fire at the time of the sighting, speculations about the mysterious sighting kept on rising and even the Weather experts were baffled by it. Initially, the spinning black ring was thought to be some type of unusual weather phenomenon, or the circle may be a swarm of insects in the sky, but then there were also claims that it could be a new subgenre of UFO. Of course, there were also doubts if it was a fake video.
The Facts
According to an Audio Video Forensics expert Iain McArthur, there’s a “blob” on the top right and top left of the ring that suggests movement – “something organic”. He said that the blurring element was different from any UFO footage he has seen.
After few days, on 15th of April 2014, the mystery had an answer when a statement from Warwick Castle confirmed that they were actually testing fireworks. Talking about it, a spokesman for Warwick Castle said they were trying out “fire effects” to go with the daily firing of the Trebuchet Fireball – a giant catapult. “We’ve seen a number of different effects, including the vortex images that have been reported. As yet we don’t know what causes the phenomenon but it’s certainly a spooky spectacle“, the spokesman added.
