A pretty interesting video shared widely over internet, especially on social media sites, claims to show the prototype of First Human Flesh Modular Body in a project called Oscar. The video that caught attention of many people online however does not show a real human modular prototype.
The story about the Oscar, shown as the first Modular Real Flesh Body Made by Human became popular online after a user Cornelis Vlasman uploaded the video to YouTube on 14 April 2016. The video claimed to show the official presentation of Oscar disconnected from its external blood supply and outside his sterile environment, after which Cornelis Vlasman demonstrates how the various modules work together as he connects them. With the modern science and advanced technology, some people thought what is shown in the video could be a fact. But the viewers did not notice the YouTube video was listed in ‘Film & Animation’ category, and its description started with “Experience the full science fiction story at http://www.themodularbody.com“. Yes, like also mentioned in the about description of their website, ‘The Modular Body is an online science fiction story about the creation of OSCAR, a living organism built from human cells‘. So the claims as such showing the prototype of first human modular body are hoaxes.
