The message claims to show a picture of one eyed albino shark, that it is a fetus and is called Cyclops. Yes, it is a fact.

This interesting picture was shared on few photo entertainment websites, while most believed that the strange creature was either fake or is a photoshop creation. On 16 February 2011, the 22 centimetres long, one eyed, albino shark fetus was found by a fisherman named Enrique Lucero Leon after he caught a pregnant dusky shark near Cerralvo Island in the Gulf of California and cut it open. He was in fact surprised to see this odd-looking male embryo along with nine normal siblings. The picture was posted on Facebook by a biologist, catching the attention of scientists, who later studied it and confirmed that it was indeed a cyclops shark – a rare race of one-eyed giants. They also suggested that such cyclops sharks do not survive long outside the womb of their mothers, which is why they are not found in the wild. The video below is a news report of The Telegraph, showing the one eyed shark fetus, while the fisherman and a marine scientist talk about it.

Albinism is a congenital disorder characterized by the complete or partial absence of pigment in the skin, hair and eyes. See Albino White Peacock. Cyclopia, also called cyclocephaly or synophthalmia is a birth defect characterized by the failure of the embryonic prosencephalon (the front portion of brain) to properly divide the orbits of the eye into two cavities. In the images below, you can see the similar condition of Cyclopia in two kittens, followed by a human fetus.
