It is a fact, on 31st October 2020, a rare Blue Moon will be spotted on Halloween – it is happening for the first time in 76 years. The last time a Blue Moon appeared on Halloween day (October 31) was during World War II in the year 1944. However, unlike the messages suggest, the moon will not turn into blue color. A Blue Moon is the second of two full Moons occurring in a single calendar month. Usually, a month has only one full moon, but occasionally a second one sneaks in separated by 29 days. The blue moon on 31st October follows the harvest moon on 1st October. Except for its occurrence according to English calendar, it is no different than any other full moon we generally see.
