Analysis:
This is a video that has been doing rounds online for a while now, claiming to show an amazing act, where a man balances almost anything! Yes, it is a fact; the man shown in the first video is Nam Seok Byun, a balancing expert from Seoul.
The Balancing Expert
Also known as Rocky Byun, this expert takes balancing to the extreme, and he has achieved this amazing art practicing since nine years. He balances various objects like teapots, timbers, electronic gadgets, small vehicles, rocks and more. He is able to do that by finding the point of center of gravity of the object, and once he does that he positions it right above the ground. To help him achieve this, Rocky uses a little rock that provides some friction to hold and make the object stand in balance. But the finesse with which he accomplishes his balancing art must be appreciated – for it is extraordinary!
Another Video
There is another video of him titled ‘The Seoul Balancing Expert’ showing some of his other amazing acts, which was shot for a promotional advertisement for Seoul Tourism. Many people thought the video could be faked, but it should be noted that the acts of balancing take several attempts to get them right and this is not shown entirely in the video. This balancing act is not impossible and not even new, Britain’s Adrian Gray is also an expert in balancing giant rocks.
