Allegedly, the sensitive video was recorded in Singapore and went viral immediately. Although the message conveyed is touching, the incident as such is not real.
Baby Recognizes Mother’s Heart – Organ Donation Commercial
The video starts with a crying baby as the father tries to console. The crying continues non-stop despite many relatives, grandmother, aunt, uncle and others try to calm the baby down. Even toys do not help, and the baby goes on crying even more. Then comes the man in black T-shirt and holds the baby in his hands. The baby stops crying and listens to the heart beat, recognizing it. Allegedly, the man received the baby’s mother’s heart in a transplant few months ago. The motherly comfort brings a soothing smile on the baby’s face and calms down, thanks to the man’s heartbeat. Despite the touching claims, the incident portrayed is not real.
The 90 seconds video is in fact a Chinese Organ Donation Commercial. Even though the content of the commercial is really simple, it has a powerful message which went viral.
The video appeared with other descriptions like – This is the only thing in this world (that) can calm a crying baby down – The baby’s mother’s heart. Government of China used the video in the campaign to encourage organ donations. To protect both donors and recipients, China has strengthened law enforcement on organ trafficking. To serve the purpose, Chinese government is instead encouraging the legal ways of organ donation.
The description of the video campaign suggests – Organ Donation lets heart keep beating and gives more life and love even after death. It gives the other person the chance of life.
