Coming back to the video in question, a close examination will reveal, the other boy is not touching the two leads of Bulb properly and is even trying to hide it from the viewer. In between video cuts, Abu Thahir is probably wetting his hands (with saliva) and then touching the bulb. So, all this clarifies Abu Thahir’s Power of Lighting Bulb by Touch of bare hands or body is a Hoax. A special rechargeable LED bulb was used in the video.
Another Similar Case of ‘Current Wala Baalak’
Another, similar video of a boy from India surfaced online and went viral earlier in year 2017. Accordingly, Honey Singh, popularly known as Current Wala Baalak (meaning Boy with Current in Hindi), lights up a bulb with his touch. The child is a resident of Loha Khan in Rajasthan’s City of Ajmer.
In that case, the boy must have had sweaty hands and legs, or they must be wet to have caused earthing and light up the special rechargeable bulb.

We have seen many other videos claiming to show kids with such ‘extraordinary’ capability to light up a bulb with a simple touch of body. Shown below are couple of them:

Again, these are unverified claims and as explained above, the bulbs are most likely special rechargeable ones which glow with touch on both the conducting leads. People unaware of such technology can find it as some exceptional capability to generate current.
