As of March 20/2014, we at Facebook will be launching a “No Religion” campaign. Anyone caught spreading religious beliefs in any form will have their account locked, and further pending investigations may be held.
This due to the new laws issued by our legal department (section 182 P34b) as new advertisers and groups have petitioned for a “more logical” and “adult” social network.
If a user(you) continues to spread any form of religious propaganda will be shut down and a permanent ban will be placed the account will be placed into effect, immediately.

A picture message, supposedly from the co-founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg, has been spreading on the social networking platform, claiming that from 20 Mar. 2014, Facebook will be launching a “No Religion” campaign. According to it, any Facebook user caught spreading religious beliefs in any form will have their account locked, and may even have to face further investigations. This they say is to create a “more logical” and “adult” social network. Well, the claim is not logical as such.
The picture message titled ‘No religion campaign facebook‘ is just a hoax, perhaps the work of pranksters to get some kind of attention – as you can infer from the improper English grammar usage in the last paragraph, and also the incorrect spelling of Mark Zukerberg (originally Mark Zuckerberg). Facebook did not issue any such announcement that bans material related to religious beliefs. It should be noted that Facebook, in general, will not announce changes in their policy through the Facebook platform itself; they notify the users through email, and post the information in appropriate administrative section of Facebook.com.

It appears like this picture message is replicated from yet another hoax that surfaced on Facebook few days earlier, it came with a title ‘No swearing campaign facebook‘. As listed in other versions of stories above, the message said Facebook will start a “no swearing” campaign, according to which, anyone caught using profanity (the use of offensive language) will have their account locked until further investigation. Again, this claim is hoax too; note the very similar text, and the mentioned section 182 P34b is same in both cases. Facebook did not announce any anti-profanity campaign.
Facebook, however, does set certain guidelines for user posting, which when not followed can be deleted. Like for example, from their Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, Facebook tries to keep the social networking platform safe, and expects commitment from the users not to bully, intimidate, or harass any user, also not to post content that: is hate speech, threatening, or pornographic; incites violence; or contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence. Facebook is a popular social networking platform, and pranks of this kind have become pretty common these days. A similar post in the past, again purporting from Mark Zuckerberg, said Facebook is introducing Video Ads that will stop what you are doing every ten minutes and play for anywhere between 15 to 60 seconds.
