Ice Cube at Feng Fu Pressure Point: An Old Chinese-Acupuncture Technique

This pressure point also known as the Feng Fu, is usually in level with the tip of the ears (see Image below). Feng Fu is translated as “ a wind mansion” or “a shelter from the wind”. Chinese medicine describes Feng Fu as a pressure point that returns the entire body back to its natural physiological balance. So, according to ancient Chinese medicine, external factors that influence your health and bodily processes may be neutralized by treating the Feng Fu point.

Our Test

I have tested the Feng Fu method on two occasions. First, at night, where I could not continue for more than 5 minutes due to cold weather and discomfort lying on my stomach. The next day, I tried it on empty stomach  for about 16 minutes.During my first experience, I felt a ‘squeezing effect’ in my body centered at the point of ice. It  continued for a while. In fact, it felt refreshing.

My second experience in the morning was cold and uncomfortable to start with. After sometime I felt my balance and breathing improve. At the end of the procedure, I woke up feeling refreshed and energetic. I felt happy and peaceful.
