The story claims this amazing and giant snake in Red Sea killed 320 tourists and 125 Egyptian divers. Not Any Giant Snake from Red Sea in Egypt

Firstly, there are no credible reports of any such deadly incident taking place anywhere in the world. If any such incident really happened involving killing of so many people, it would have easily made into news all over the world, but there is no such reported incident. So, the story accompanying the set of photographs is a hoax.

If you watch the low resolution pictures closely, the soldier standing on the truck in one of the pictures is not real, but simply a toy standing on a truck, which is again not real. The truck has a plastic look, unlike the real metallic one. The snake found on top of the toy truck could be a real, but normal-size one placed on toy truck. It could also be a rubber snake model. Subsequently, it is made to look gigantic using close range, tricky photography.

Therefore, the so called amazing giant snake found in red sea and killing hundreds of people is not real, but a hoax. Few months back, there was a similar story about giant tortoise doing rounds online.

Update: 16th October 2019

We came across high resolution photographs of the snake on toy truck mentioned above along with some others. They clearly show the soldiers and the truck are toys.

Tracking the origins of the photographs reveal the loosely shared images online are in fact part of a student’s graphic project. One video on Dailymotion shows a part of the project with title ‘Vietnam army catch giant snake
